FileRun DropBox

FileRun DropBox is a small, lightweight, desktop tool that allows you to transfer files from your computer to your FileRun account, without using a browser. It can be used as an alternative to FileRun's Drag&Drop browser based upload tool, for uploading files of unlimited sizes.

Installation:

To test this tool with our online demo, just use the installer on the left side of this page.

In order to use this desktop application with your own FileRun installation, please make sure all the software updates have been installed (minimum FileRun version required: 141109A, released on "November 16, 2009")
(Adobe AIR is required. The installer on the left should help you install it.)

Terms of use:

This application can be installed and used only by people with accounts to a FileRun installation.

FileRun license owners are allowed to distribute the application to their users only through a private (password protected) web page or through a private system (as an e-mail attachment for example). You are not allowed to upload the application or modified versions of it in public locations on the Internet.

Current limitations:

• The transfer progress is showned in 2MB increments.
• It cannot upload folders.
