Overview
A hot folder (sometimes called a watch folder) is a directory that is setup to be a staging or queue for applications to put data in and take data from, in real-time.
FileRun HotFolders (Beta) is a desktop tool that allows you to transform any folder on your computer into a hot folder, so that files placed inside these particular folders are automatically uploaded to your FileRun user account.
Practical uses:
- Automatically move scanned documents to your online repository.
- Automatically move received fax messages to your FileRun account, to access them from anywhere.
- As an alternative to FileRun's Drag&Drop browser based upload tool, for uploading files of unlimited sizes.

To test this tool with our online demo, just use the installer on the left side of this page.
In order to use this desktop application with your own FileRun installation, please make sure all the software updates have been installed (minimum FileRun version required: 141109A, released on "November 16, 2009")
(Adobe AIR is required. The installer on the left should help you install it.)
