FileRun Sync

FileRun Sync (Beta) is a desktop tool that allows you to synchronize folders on your FileRun account with folders on your computer.

Practical uses:

• Update your online folder without having to keep track of the local changes.
• Upload large folders.

Please note that FileRun Sync works only one way, from your computer to the online folder. The changes made to the online folders are not duplicated to your local folders.

In the current version the files are compared only by size. This means that files with different content but exact same number of bytes will not be updated. This will be improved in the next version.

Installation:

1. Please make sure your FileRun installation is up to date (minimum FileRun version required: 020710A, released on "July 02, 2010").

2. Download FileRun_020710A_Sync_Patch.zip, unzip it and upload it to your FileRun installation folder. It will replace the folder "/path-to-filerun/system/modules/api".

3. Click the "Install Now" button on the left side of this page.

Adobe AIR is required. The Flash on the left side of the page should help you install it.

Terms of use:

This application can be installed and used only by people with accounts to a FileRun installation.

FileRun license owners are allowed to distribute the application to their users only trough a private (password protected) web page or trough a private system (as an e-mail attachment for example). You are not allowed to upload the application in a public location on the Internet.
